LeBron James caused a Twitter storm when he showed up at the Lakers-Heat game with a man purse yesterday.
But LBJ isn't the only athlete to rock a purse from time to time.
In an age when star players employ a small army of stylists, the social stigma surrounding the "carry-all" has faded.
There's an irony to it — the world's biggest, strongest, most masculine athletes sporting an accessory defined by its femininity.

But some athletes (looking at you, Cristiano Ronaldo) have taken it a bit too far.

ACCEPTABLE: NBA players are constantly traveling, so they have to carry their things somehow, right? Plus you aren't going to ruin a $5,000 outfit by lugging around a dirty backpack

BONUS: If you're rich, famous, and athletic enough to rock a man purse, then more power to you. But if you want to connect with the common fan, a classic backpack is a good alternative
