Dan is a senior media reporter at Business Insider covering social media and the music business.

He writes about how creators earn a living from social media, the internal company cultures at platforms like TikTok, and the myriad ways that social media is transforming other industries like sports, music, and news.

He previously interned at Advertising Age and Inc. Magazine. He is a former McGraw Scholar in business journalism at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY and a graduate of Middlebury College.
