Jennifer H. Cunningham is an award-winning investigative journalist and editor. She was the Editor-in-Chief of the News Division at Business Insider, and led the newsroom when it won its first Pulitzer Prize in 2022. Cunningham's work has appeared in the New York Daily News, iOne, Cheddar TV, amNew York, Essence Magazine and The Bergen Record Newspaper.
She's covered historic events like the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting, Hurricane Sandy in New York City and New Jersey, and both the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections. Her coverage of Whitney Houston's death won an award from the New York Association of Black Journalists.
She is the immediate past president of the Newswomen’s Club of New York, the nation’s oldest nonprofit advocacy group for women in the newsroom.
