Britney Spears wants a fresh start.
With new fiancé-slash-conservator Jason Trawick in her life, the pop star is trying to get rid of old baggage.
Since 2008, Spears has been trying to sell her Studio City home in Summit Circle for $7.9 million after purchasing the property (immediately after her divorce from Kevin Federline) in 2007 for $6.75 million.
2007 proved to be a rough year for Spears, who ended up shaving her head in front of the paparazzi, losing custody of her two children and was physically removed from the home by police against her will on her way to a mental health-related hospitalization.
And now, four years and six price cuts later, Spears can finally say "adios" to her five bedroom, six bathroom Mediterranean-style villa that was home to her craziest year yet.
The gated property, built in 2001, has found a buyer for $4.253 million, and both the conservators and the court have approved the sale—despite the 37 percent loss.
