In the past, the WNBA has been difficult to find broadcast and streaming options for, but there are several new opportunities this year spread throughout several networks and streamers. We've scoured all of the options to find you the most up-to-date information on how to watch WNBA games from wherever you are.
Since its inception and start in 1996 and 1997, the WNBA has steadily risen in popularity, but the league (and women's basketball in general) has exploded over the past few years. Iowa's Caitlin Clark, LSU's Angel Reese, and other standout college stars turned WNBA rookies have had an undeniable impact on the sport in the past several months. More viewers than ever before tuned in for Iowa's March Madness games this year (and for the first time ever, the women's championship game outperformed the men's in terms of viewership), prompting several big-name broadcasters and services to pick up national WNBA coverage throughout the 2024 season, with a particular focus on Clark's Indiana Fever games.
The Playoffs tipped off with Round 1 on September 22, which wrapped up swiftly following two-game sweeps across the board. Round 2 began on September 29 with Las Vegas Aces vs. New York Liberty and Connecticut Sun vs. Minnesota Lynx match-ups. Round 2 will finish by October 8, if not before, after which point the Finals will commence and continue until October 20 at the very latest.

How to watch 2024 WNBA games in the US
The 2024 WBNA regular season games will be shown across various networks and streaming services, including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ION, NBA TV, Prime Video, ABC, CBS, and CBS Sports. All out-of-market games are also available live through the WNBA League Pass, which will occasionally be the only way to watch select games. For those without cable, you can catch the games through a combination of streaming services or live TV packages. We've also located one live TV streaming service that should be able to get you almost every single game this season.
Sling TV will be your cheapest live TV streaming package today, but it will be missing a few channels (like ION, CBS Sports, and some local networks). You'll want to select Sling Blue + Orange and get the Sports Extra add-on for NBA TV. This will give you access to ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN3. There's also a chance you'll be able to pick up ABC or CBS if you're in select regions. The Sling Blue + Orange plan costs $55 a month, and Sports Extra is an additional $11 a month, so this total package will run you $66 a month.
For just the essentials without any extra fluff, Sling TV is the streaming service you're looking for. It's more customizable than other plans, with three options you can choose from, so you pay for only what you need. New members often get a chunky discount on their first month.
Fubo is another live TV streaming alternative, which will get you almost every WNBA game this season. Amazon Prime Video is a capable, competitive streaming service that's more than just a Prime membership perk. You can also sign up for a stand-alone plan at $9/month.
Paramount Plus offers a huge library of on-demand content from Paramount, CBS, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, BET, and MTV. The Premium Plan also includes Showtime and live CBS streaming. It costs $12.99 a month or $120 a year. More importantly, it removes ads from the on-demand streaming library.
