The best iPhone USB-C chargers are compact, deliver at least 20W charging speeds, and are made by brands we trust for safety and quality.

Following the launch of the new iPhone 16 series, we've compiled our favorite iPhone USB-C wall chargers for various uses and budgets below.

Among the best iPhone USB-C chargers, our top pick is the Anker 511 Nano 3 30W. This model presents the best overall value and can provide slightly faster charging than the entry-level (20W) options Apple has designated for "fast charging" of recent iPhones. For a budget option, we recommend Anker's 511 Nano Pro 20W, a high-quality, dependable charger that delivers the same charging capacity as Apple's comparable product at a lower price.

FAQs

Which chargers can an iPhone use?

In theory, any iPhone can use any functioning charger, whether it has a USB-A or USB-C port, just as long as you have a cable with a connector that fits the charger and your phone's charging port.

However, for modern iPhones (specifically, the iPhone 12 series and later), we recommend chargers with USB-C ports and at least a 20W capacity for faster charging speeds. We also recommend only high-quality chargers, informed by our testing for safety, both for your iPhone and yourself.

Even further, any of the best iPhones can use wireless chargers that support the common Qi standard; though, if you're going the wireless charging route, we'd recommend chargers certified for Apple's MagSafe standards. See our guide to the best MagSafe chargers for top options.

Do iPhones have fast charging?

Yes, iPhones have fast charging, as Apple introduced it with the iPhone 8 series in 2017. The company doesn't share exactly how fast its iPhones can charge, apart from noting that any iPhone model from the iPhone 8 series onward (including the iPhone 16 series) is capable of gaining "50 percent battery in around 30 minutes" using at least an 18W wired charger.

However, Apple notes that you need at least a 20W power adapter to fast charge an iPhone 12 or later model. With that in mind, any 20W or 30W charger, or anything in between or beyond, would deliver fast charging speeds to any recent iPhone, though higher capacity chargers may charge your phone slightly faster.
