Even though Apple's iCloud won't launch until this fall, iPhone and iPad users who are running the latest version of iOS, version 4.3, can try it out in beta right now.
The beta version of iCloud is already built in to your App Store and iTunes Store apps on your device. It lets you view apps and songs you have already downloaded or purchased and add them to your device.
For example: If you download an app for your iPad, you can download it to your iPhone from iCloud without having to sync to your computer. Same goes with music.
We got some hands-on time with iCloud on our iPhone. Check out our walkthrough on how to use it below.
From the App Store, tap the "Updates" tab at the bottom. You'll see a new option to view purchased apps. Tap "Purchased" to view them.

Here's your list of purchased apps. Select "All" to see all the apps you have purchased.

Tap "Not On This Phone" to see the apps you've purchased but haven't downloaded to your phone yet. We downloaded X-Men to our iPad last week. Now we'll download it to our iPhone. Tap the cloud icon next to the app to start the download.

The app downloads right away. Easy!

Now open the iTunes store. You'll see a new option at the bottom to view your "Purchased" music.

Select "Not On This iPhone" to view music you've purchased from iTunes, but don't have on your phone. We'll download the album from The Fratellis.

Tap "Download All" to download the entire album. (You can also select individual songs if you want)

The album begins downloading right away.

After the download, open your iPod app. The new songs will be under "Purchased"
