Samsung Galaxy Ring to offer two new sizes

Samsung is increasingly looking to add more diversity to its product range, not only in terms of the devices it brings about but also in tailoring according to varied user needs. This is the case with the Galaxy Ring, which was released in a range of sizes. It became an instant hit among users for being the company's first device in this category and for offering some key health-focused capabilities. While currently, the wearable is available in nine different sizes, the company is expanding more in terms of size range to cater to a wider range of users.

Samsung might add two new ring sizes to cater to larger sizes and a wider range of users

Smart Rings are mainly used for health-related features, and given the need for accuracy in this kind of information, the wearable must be a good fit. Galaxy Ring was unleashed this year at the Unpacked 2024 and has made its mark for the wide variety of sizes it offers, for being lightweight and comfortable, and for the advanced health capabilities it is packed within such a compact size. Now, the company aims to add more versatility by incorporating a wider range of users and expanding its size ranges further.

While smartwatches come with adjustable straps, that option is not available with smart rings, and manufacturers have to offer different sizes so that consumers can easily find the perfect fit. Currently, Samsung offers Galaxy Ring sizes starting from 5 up to 13 and, along with this, gives users a sizing kit to help them find their perfect fit.

Renowned tipster, Max Jambor shared on X that it is expected Samsung will be adding two more sizes, 14 and 15, respectively, to its existing size range in the coming weeks. This is to cater to bigger sizes and not limit the prospective buyers due to fewer size options. Nothing has been shared yet on whether Samsung will be updating its sizing kit to include the new sizes for the Galaxy Ring, but we believe that the company would be re-configuring its kit to reflect the newly added options.

Until Samsung confirms this new development, such information should be taken with a grain of salt. Nonetheless, if we do see an expanded size range, it would be refreshing to see Samsung actively working on catering to a wider user base and gaining more prospective buyers by tapping into this potential window of opportunity.
