- Comedic actresses Helena Bonham Carter and Mindy Kaling, as well as singer Rihanna and rapper Awkwafina also star in the movie.
- The film, a sequel and spin-off of the "Ocean's" trilogy, follows Debbie Ocean (Bullock) — the estranged sister of Danny Ocean — as she tries to pull off a heist at the Met Gala.
- The first trailer shows Ocean enlisting the help of former partners in crime, new talent, and a few fashion and beauty insiders — much like her brother Ocean in the original film.
- It also appears, like her brother, Ocean is motivated by revenge against a specific target. In this case, socialite Daphne Kluger (Hathaway).
- "Ocean's 8" will be released June 8, 2018.
