- Here are the highest-paying firms for MBA grads, according to Management Consulted's 2022 report.
Business-school graduates looking for six-figure salaries should direct their attention to management consulting.
With rising concern about a recession, white-collar industries like tech and finance have pulled back on hiring, but many consulting companies are still recruiting top talent: Firms such as McKinsey and PwC have more than 500 open positions on their hiring portals.
This personnel growth follows a strong year for the industry: Last year, the competitive labor market and one of the highest demand periods on record for consulting were positive for many firms. As a result, pay rose across various firms and position levels, according to the latest salaries report from Management Consulted, a careers-resource company for consultants. Additionally, the Big Three recently announced they're increasing the base salaries from $175,000 to between $190,000 and $192,000 for MBA graduates in the US, according to reporting from the Financial Times.
Insider compiled a ranking of the highest-paying consulting firms for MBA graduates, based on total cash potential, including signing bonuses, performance bonuses, and average base salaries. The data was pulled directly from Management Consulted users who received job offers.
